After breakfast, travel 125 km (4 hours) to Thekkady, check into your hotel, and then spend the afternoon sightseeing the area. Thekkady is home to one of the most fascinating wild life reserves in the world, the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, which covers 777 square kilometers, of which 360 square kilometers are covered by dense, evergreen forest. In 1978, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was designated as a Tiger Reserve, a designation that was based on its geomorphology, wildlife richness, and scenic beauty. After Breakfast transfer to Kumarakom (123 Kms/ 4 Hrs). Kumarakom Situated on the western shores of Vembanadu Lake, Kumarakom is a small backwater village. The backwater area covers an area of 1000 square kilometers. Select a houseboat, motorboat, or canoe to fully appreciate this backwater paradise's splendor. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

After breakfast, depart the Kumarakom and travel the 176 kilometers (5 hr) to Kovalam. Once you arrive at Kovalam, check into your hotel and get some rest. After spending the evening exploring Trivandrum, return to your hotel for a delectable meal and Overnight at Kovalam.

After breakfast, take a detour past Kovalam junction to reach Samudra Beach, which is north of Ashoka Beach, and engage in some local sightseeing. Another choice is to stroll along the sea wall. Visit Kanyakumari for a sunset tour, then return to your accommodation in Kovalam for dinner and the evening. (The package includes sightseeing in Kanyakumari, which is 110 kilometers from Kovalam.)
